THE BREATH OF THE FOREST
WORKSHOP OF DANCE AND VOICE IN NATURE

Butoh Dance– Sensitive Dance – Voice – Sound Yoga

Dance with Kea Tonetti
Voice with Tivitavi

LIVE – MUSIC & FINAL PERFORMANCE

The Black Forest is a place of healing and regeneration, ancient and magical, with the soil covered with soft musk and tall conifers that create a natural cathedral. Entering in the breath of the forest, we will let ourselves be permeated by the landscape, we will walk in meditation and contact deeply the elements of the nature, through the dance, the breathing and the voice, nourishing our body and spirit. The deep meeting with Nature brings healing, awakens vitality, opens senses, frees and empties the head, integrates us to our wild nature, gives inner peace and silence.

Nourish the senses, embody nature’s energies, connect ourselves to the Earth, to our roots and vital center,  to the breath of the earth and the sky, expand our own breath, let ourselves be danced, talked, sang; awaken ancient memories, free emotions and archaic impulses, open to listening and feeling, live the present moment and not-do; unearth personal and collective memories, research the organic movement, awaken a natural body, free from social and cultural limitations, in a state in which you are moved and danced, let forms and sounds become expression of the soul.

Return to the empty body of the origins, enter in contact, through body and being, with the vibrant emptiness that permeates the creation, becoming free to dance the beauty and mystery of every life manifestation and letting your chant be generated from body and soul. Live in a deep union with the  Nature and its cycles, wonder of which we are part and mirror that opens us to our deepest self.
Offer a dance, a chant, a prayer to ourselves, to Mother Earth, the forest, the sun, the moon, the stars….

Practices of Butoh dance, Sensitive dance, Sound Yoga, Breath, Voice, Overtone singing and Shamanism will allow us to consciously interact with our body, our breath and our voice, in order to awake our own dance and voice in union with the Nature.

Butoh dance will be accompanied by the music of Tivitavi ( tibetan bells, didgeridoo, drumming, flutes, voice and natural sounds).

At the end of the workshop there will be a Performance of the group with the live-music of Tivitavi, open to the public, on Saturday 15th of August in the afternoon.
